With a focus on China’s coastal culinary traditions, Kam Tung Kitchen is celebrating 35 years in Hong Kong sharing the rare cuisine of the Tanka people.

Referring to boat-living communities located in coastal Southern China, the Shau Kei Wan restaurant is a living, breathing ode to a former Hong Kong history. This summer, Kam Tung Kitchen unveils 10 new signature dishes representing the cuisine and its people.

Dishes like the age-old steamed crab pork patty, hand-shredded chicken and duck drumstick combo, fisherman’s salted fish and salted fish pot, and Tanka-style steamed pork with shrimp paste join the pack for guests to savour a cuisine rarely seen in Hong Kong.
