Durian lovers are in for a treat this summer with the return of the Malaysian Durian Festival at Hotel ICON in July and August.

A signature at the Tsim Sha Tsui East hotel, executive chef Danny Ho leads this annual festival exhibiting the power of his home nation’s durian products in massive durian-themed buffets.

Premium Malaysian durian varieties, including D197 Musang King, D200 Black Thorn, and D88 Xiao Tian Tian, will be presented alongside Malaysian, Singaporean, Chinese, and Hong Kong savoury dishes and desserts made using the potent, pungent fruit.

The Malaysian Durian Festival brunch and dinner buffets will be hosted on Jul. 26–27 and Aug. 9–10 and 30–31 at the hotel’s Silverbox Ballroom, with brunch lasting from 11:45AM to 3PM and dinner from 6:30PM to 10PM. Adult tickets cost HKD888, whilst the price for children is HKD588.
