To celebrate Pride Month in Hong Kong, WOOBAR has launched a three-drink-strong cocktail menu inspired by classic Hong Kong songs and films.

Crafted by in-house mixologist Stone Shek, the sweet-and-sour Rolls-Royce (HKD180) takes its inspiration from Hong Kong musician Wyman Wong’s song “Rolls-Royce,” touching upon the bond of love transcending the friendship of two men.

The equally flavoursome Cosmopolitan-style cocktail Happy Together (HKD180) is crafted to mirror Wong Kar-wai’s Happy Together, a film featuring the rocky relationship of Leslie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu-wai’s characters as they navigate love in Argentina.

With a grape base, the savoury, smoky, and spicy Yellow Door (HKD180) is a nod to Wyman Wong’s song “Yellow Door,” exploring the fears faced by the LGBTQ+ community.

These cocktails are available from now until Jun. 30 at WOOBAR.
