Ever since the pandemic, Jellycat plushies have taken the world by storm. Though Hong Kong doesn’t have its own official diner run by the British plushie company, +bread in Yau Mai Tei is the next best thing.

This cosy café is themed around these adorable soft toys, with Jellycat merchandise also available for sale. On the Jellycat baked good front, there are smiling Jelly bagels (HKD38) in blueberry, coconut pandan, and mango pomelo flavours and a Hong Kong edition pineapple bun Jelly bagel (HKD28), plus pistachio Jelly bread (HKD34), yuzu mango pomelo Jelly bread (HKD32), and mango mochi cake (HKD88) that are too cute for school.

The café’s food menu is also recommended here. Favourite dishes include the creamy mushroom lasagne (HKD108) and slow-roasted half-chicken in butter sauce (HKD158), which is extremely juicy and flavourful.

+bread has a second bakery location in nearby Prince Edward, with a pop-up currently on at Langham Place too.
